The Exonerated
People Productions begins its 2015-16 season with The
Exonerated, by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, as a fundraiser for the Rocky
Mountain Innocence Center.
The Exonerated is a docudrama about five
men and a woman who spent from two to 22 years on Death Row for crimes of which
they were eventually proved innocent.
Performances will be held on the
University of Utah campus at the new S.J. Quinney Law School October 16 and 18,
and at the Social Work Auditorium October 23, 24, and 25. On Saturday night,
October 17, a performance of The Exonerated will be held in the Black
Box Theatre on the Salt Lake Community College South Campus (1700 South, State
Street) as a “Free Night of Theatre” (sponsored by Now Playing Utah).
