First Snow of the Season

I enjoy the season changes. Yesterday as I was getting ready for the first snow storm to arrive. I noticed how large the buds for next spring season had already developed. Those buds of the forsythia and lilac bushes give me hope and something to look forward to.
Now the snow has arrived and oh how lovely the flakes look as they gather on tree limbs and bushes.
This was my last blooming rose of Autumn.
My Blue Spruce trees that were planted years ago look like flocked Christmas trees.
I walk into my greenhouse and am greeted by colors so opposite of the outside winter.
